How might technology help Leeds develop a skilled, productive and inclusive workforce?
Hack for Good is back and bigger than ever!! Come and join us for the day for the chance to collaborate with your peers, and help Leeds City Council in their mission to help Leeds become a great place to work, for everyone.
What to Expect on the Day:
In order to help guide you, we’ll have the 5 tracks below for you to focus a project on. We’ll provide useful resources for each, plus mentors from our amazing event partners who can help your ideas become a reality! As it’s only a day long event, we don’t expect any full solutions, or even in-depth prototypes, we just want to see your ideas & how you’d bring them to life.
You will compete in teams of up to 6 on the day, but if you don’t have any teammates in mind don’t worry, we can help you find some!! We have channels online where you can connect with fellow attendees before the event, plus a portion on the day dedicated to helping people find a team so don’t be put off if you’re on your own.
Track 1 – How do we create visibility of the Leeds digital skills offer in a way that is easy to access and navigate, and ensure this is up to date?
Track 2 – What can data tell us about how productive we are as a city and how we can improve on this?
Track 3 – How do we identify the future skills needs of the Leeds workforce and ensure that job opportunities are open, accessible and inclusive for everyone?
Track 4 – In an era of homeworking, how can technology support a more connected workforce that supports people’s health and wellbeing?
