Accelerating Healthcare: How AI is Improving Patient Outcomes

Organised by Leeds Digital Health

Building off the success from our last Leeds Digital Health event, join us for an evening of talks and networking as we explore how AI is driving improvements across health and social care.

Jonathan Pearson (Lead Data Scientist at NHSE) will touch on the strategy for AI in the NHS and highlight some key questions around data as a foundation for AI. David Hogg (Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Leeds) will delve into the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the healthcare industry.

We’ll also be joined by Alison Campbell from Care Fertility who will share the breakthroughs that AI has brought to fertility success rates. Alwyn Kotzee (Consultant Anaesthetist at Leeds Teaching Hospital) will provide an overview of the current evidence on AI in the high-volume, high-cost healthcare field of elective surgery, and identify opportunities for collaboration between industry, academia, and the NHS, to improve patient care.

Come and be a part of the vibrant Leeds Digital Health community and enjoy an informal evening of networking with other healthcare and tech professionals over food and drinks.
