Event Image Guidelines

Follow these event image guidelines to make sure your event submission is approved.

The title and image are the first two things anyone will see when browsing events on the website. Together, they set the tone for the value your event will deliver, long before anyone has read the full description. Here’s how to make your visuals work hard so you don’t have to.

Your image must follow these guidelines:

Any images that are not suitable will be rejected, and the Leeds Digital team will contact you directly to request an alternative image.

Do include an impactful image that communicates the contents of your event.

🚫 Don’t include the title, venue, date, time, the Festival’s logo or text.

🆗 You can include your company’s logo (and your partners’) as long as they don’t overwhelm the image.

❗️ Bear in mind that if your organisation is a sponsor, your company logo will appear overlapping the bottom right of the image, so it’s best not to include any crucial information or logos here.

💡 TOP TIP Before making your selection, think about the various ways the image will be used in the lead-up to the Festival. As well as featuring on the website, the image you choose could be incorporated into social media marketing, mailers, ads and more.
