Hundreds of millions of workers worldwide will need to acquire a new set of skills to compete in the jobs market as technology accelerates. Join us to find out about the digital skills gap, how it affects employability and how the University interacts with the community to offer solutions via a range of opportunities.
See how the skills gap affects you or your business through an informative presentation. You will then find out how the award winning Digital Education Service, the Leeds University Business School and the Lifelong Learning Centre can help you narrow the gap through a range of solutions we offer.
The Digital Education Service video and animation team will also be doing interactive demonstrations showing you how they create digital content. Experience what it’s like to read from an autocue, see how a green screen works, and interact with exciting new character animation tools.
Following the presentation, you will sample a buffet of light hors d’oeuvres and get a chance to network with delegates and our teams at different stands offering you anything from free online courses to blended part-time undergraduate degrees, degree apprenticeships, postgraduate courses and the opportunity to create your own online courses for your staff’s unique training needs.
