6:30pm Talk 1 - Our team agreed to a sprint goal, you won't believe what happened next…

Sprint goals sound great in theory - the product owner and the team agree what the team will deliver, the team deliver it, everybody's happy. But how often does it work like that in practice?

In this session, members of the Callcredit Development Community will be talking about sprint goals from an engineer's perspective, looking at what can go wrong, and what we can do about it - from problems with planning and dealing with stakeholders, to accepting our mistakes and improving communication. Is the team in control of its own destiny?

And was the promise of burgers for lunch enough of an incentive to get Team Turing to hit their goals?

Come along and find out.

Format: Presentation with open participation from audience.

Hosted by Kathy McLusky & Nosheen Hussain – from the Callcredit Development Community of Practice
