To put it simply – we support, champion and connect women in leadership. We support you by developing your leadership skills and confidence. We champion you by celebrating your successes and amplifying your voices. We connect you with other women, businesses, and available support.
#WECAN (women empowered through coaching and networking) initially started as a three year project part-funded by the European Social Fund. Led by Leeds Beckett University and working in partnership with Edge Hill University and SEYH (Social Enterprise Yorkshire and Humber) the project built the leadership skills, capabilities, and opportunities of over 900 women from over 300 SMEs, charities and social enterprises in the Leeds City Region. Whilst the project came to an end officially in December 2023, our commitment to supporting women and organisations has only grown and we continue to support, champion and connect women in leadership through the #WECAN Network.
