Who are NorthInvest?
NorthInvest is a not-for-profit, early stage funding connector for the tech sector, based in Leeds and fully operational since Sept 2017. They support founders from all sectors across the North of England, with a focus on founders from underrepresented groups. They have made over 252 direct introductions to investors, delivered 469 coaching sessions and 85 events. Their investor network has over 150 angels in Leeds and the North and they have closed 20 fundraising deals in the last 12 months through their programmes.
NorthInvest has launched ‘Fund Her North’; a collective to support female founders gain funding. So far £1.5m has been raised since its launch in Oct 2020.
