About the Speakers:

  • Andy Curry – Managing Director, LION+MASON
    Andy is the Strategy Director of LION+MASON. Having worked in Digital for over 25 years, Andy has a wealth of experience creating strategy and leading projects for a wide variety of clients and industries. These include Johnson & Johnson, The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Department for Education, and Durham University. Andy is also an experienced speaker at design and digital events and is a passionate advocate of a research-based, user-centric and inclusive approach to design.
  • Kelly Moran – Head of UX, Leeds Building Society
    Specialties: User Experience – 20 years experience of managing and running : live 1 to 1 user testing, focus groups, remote testing, customer journey maps, interactive prototypes, persona creation, wireframes, site-maps, mobile apps, responsive design, style-guides, accessibility and digital creative design. Setting user experience strategies and embedding user experience, design and accessibility into project life-cycles for Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Esure, Birmingham Midshires, BoS Business Banking, Halifax International, HBOS plc, Aviva, Direct Line, Green Flag, Churchill, Privilege, ADP,Covea Insurance and Farnell Electronics.
  • Sasha Plummer – Senior UX Designer, Leeds Building Society
    Sasha has seven years experience as a User Experience designer and has been instrumental in advancing the growth and maturity of the Digital Experience team at Leeds Building Society. Sasha joined the team in 2020 and previously worked at Jet2 holidays. Prior to this, Sasha honed her skills as a graphic designer. Sasha ensures that online journeys consistently meet the highest standards, adhere to UX best practices, and embody a user-centered design process. Sasha’s diverse project portfolio encompasses website re-platforming, extensive user research, seamless third-party integrations, and an unwavering dedication to continuously iterating and enhancing the online experience.
  • Tom Allen – Digital Product Manager, Age UK
    Digital Product Manager, Age UK. With a decade of experience in digital specialising in B2B products, Tom has spent the last year developing a portfolio of Age UK’s digital platforms. His products focus on enabling and empowering the charities network of Local Age UK’s to support older people in their communities.
  • William Perkins – Group Product Lead, Deliveroo
    Senior Product Manager, Deliveroo. Will is a product leader, evangelist and visionary. A former British Army officer, he takes a practical and pragmatic approach to leadership and product development. He is currently a senior product manager at Deliveroo. When not developing products he can be found on his bike or pruning his roses.
  • Marianne Knowles – Principal Content Designer, Co-op
    Marianne is passionate about helping people to feel empowered within content design and product teams. Keen to develop her interests in scriptwriting, AI and emerging technologies, she takes an empathetic and developmental approach to leadership. Marianne has over 20 years experience of creating content for the education, tech and creative industries.
