How can we ensure our data-driven future is diverse? We’re opening up the discussion in this session around women in data – from practical advice to inspiring stories.

Join us for an inspiring panel discussion with female data leaders from ITV, Asda, Whirlpool, Studio, Card Factory and Sky Betting & Gaming. Plus quickfire recruitment tips with Focus 5 Recruitment and advice on returning to work after a career break with TechReturners.

Speaker line-up:

Nichole Tinnion, Senior Director – Business Delivery @ Asda: Nichole has worked in Asda Tech for the last 10 years. She has a passion for delivering products that not only improve customer experiences, but also Asda’s internal business data set to enable better decision making.

Nichole has been exposed to a lot of learning during the recent national launch of Asda Rewards. She loves creating and leading high performing teams and bringing others on the journey.

Fay Fletcher, Lead Data Scientist @ ITV: Fay supports ITV’s data science team to drive data innovation across the business. Through the use of machine learning within a data mesh architecture, the team creates products to transform the way data is used to create value.

Prior to ITV, Fay worked as a data scientist in the water industry, having transitioned into data science from an academic career in psychology. She’s passionate about combining behavioural science with data science to understand and predict customer behaviour.

Reema Vadoliya, Global Digital Analytics Manager @ Whirlpool: Reema is a data enthusiast, focused on telling transformational stories using data. Having worked in data and analytics since 2016, she’s worked in multiple key positions that support businesses to get value from their data. This includes supporting introspective thinking and facilitating challenging conversations to find those metrics that tell the most important stories within organisations.
