Join us for a new software testing mini-conference, and a full day of learning, sharing and socialising.
You’ll learn about new testing technology and industry trends, hear real stories of problems and solutions from professionals, give your views on topics as part of our group discussions, and even play some games. Plus, there will be loads of time to get to know other members of the testing community.
A wide range of sessions throughout the day include topics from accessibility and mobile testing through to AI ethics and performance testing.
There will be plenty of breaks, a buffet lunch, and refreshments provided throughout the day. The event will be followed by the Ministry of Testing Leeds in the evening for those who wish to attend both.
Although it’s a testing-focused event, it’s open to anyone working in or around the software development lifecycle with at least basic testing and technical knowledge. It’s a perfect event for those who want to build on their existing knowledge and experience of testing, who want to come away with practical examples and information that they can use in their role.
Test Up North is organised by Adam Clarkson, a Senior Test Engineer from Leeds, with help from others from the software testing community. Our first event is being kindly sponsored by Hippo, a full-service digital consultancy.
Our venue is Hippo Campus on the ground floor of Aireside House, a dedicated event space kindly provided by Hippo. It’s only 2 minutes from Leeds Train Station, has gender-neutral and disabled toilets, and is accessible for those with reduced mobility. Please specify when purchasing tickets if you have any specific access needs.
Only a limited number of tickets are available. Once these have sold out, you will be able to join the waiting list for any cancellations. Due to the capacity of the venue, we will be unable to admit anyone who has turned up without tickets once we have sold out.
