Every evolving team has a version of the same story. Two people who used to finish each other’s sentences start cc’ing everyone “just to be safe.” A decision gets made in one meeting and quietly unmade in the next. An away day gets everyone nodding, and by Tuesday nothing has actually changed. None of it looks like a crisis. That’s exactly why it never gets addressed. And it’s costing you in time, money, energy.
Stuck in the Middle is Rebel Hive’s flagship diagnostic workshop, condensed for the Festival into a two hour working session. Rather than a talk about culture, this is small-group, facilitated work on a real pattern of friction that attendees are already living with – small enough that people say what’s actually true rather than perform for the room.
Attendees surface a specific pattern they’ve normalised, locate where it sits in their system (between teams, decisions, handovers or priorities), and get honest about what it’s really costing, financially, relationally, or in momentum lost.
From there, the session moves to action: one small, testable next step each person can take without waiting for a wider transformation programme to catch up.
Expect facilitated small-group discussions using direct language without the consultancy jargon, and leave with something you can act on immediately.
Light refreshments provided.
