Prototyping with GAME JAMS will bring together artists, game designers and academics to chat all about the value of pilot projects and GAME JAMS.
Here you’ll get an introduction to the rules of our GAME JAM and three short briefs designed by artists that will be used as the inspiration and the subject matter. For the second half of the event, we’ll open the floor and talk about the importance of GAME JAMS and smash apart the stereotype that gaming is antisocial.
Whether you’re taking part in the GAME JAM or interested in learning more about it, we’d love to have you there!
This event is part of Leeds Digital Festival 2021.
It is a gathering of people for the purpose of planning, designing, creating or testing out one or more ideas within a short span of time. “Jam” is a reference to musical jam sessions.
Prototyping with GAME JAMS is an online event using the free platform gather.town. We’ll be sending through details on how to access the event closer to the time – stay tuned.
