A facilitated discussion bringing together participants of the LEEDS 2023 GAME JAM event, and anyone who wants to see what was created!
LEEDS 2023 is hosting a 10-day GAME JAM! It’s time to test, collaborate and prototype some extraordinary new ideas.
Following on from our 10-day GAME JAM for this final session, we’re bringing together everyone that joined in with the LEEDS 2023 GAME JAM and anyone who wants to see what was created.
We’ll start by talking about the GAME JAM event and sharing some of what the teams got up to over the 10 days of making! Then it’s time to move on to the exciting bit and share the games! We’ll also have the 3 artists on hand to reflect on how their briefs have been interpreted.
We will be joined by Lucy James, who will share information about her history in games journalism and join us to play through the prototypes.
Lucy James is a Senior Video Producer and Host at GameSpot. As a lifelong gamer, her favourite part of the job is speaking to game developers and digging into the creative decisions they make during the development process. Her favourite games include Mass Effect 2, Okami, and Overwatch.
Presenting GAME JAM Prototypes will be hosted on the free platform gather.town. Register for a free ticket and we’ll be in touch closer to the time with more details on how to access the event – stay tuned.
