Want to land press coverage but unsure where to start? Or are your pitches being ignored?

In this workshop, national journalist Suzanne Bearne who writes for global titles including The Guardian, The Observer and the BBC and runs The Guardian’s PR and Marketing Masterclass, will explain how how knowing exactly what journalists look for in a story can lead to greater success with your pitches.

Featuring strong case-studies, this 90-minute session is aimed at anyone interested in securing media coverage, whether you’re a startup, PR, small business, organisation, charity or multinational firm.

Delving into her 12 years’ experience as a journalist across trade, national and consumer titles, Suzanne will offer guidance on working with the press, explain what journalists look for in a story, the creative ways (and easier) ways to land press coverage and how presenting yourself as an expert can lead to radio, TV, print and online opportunities.

There will be a separate webinar on the Thursday (October 1) in which I look at which journalists to approach, what to include in a press release, which digital tools to use and key tips on working with journalists.

You can watch them both, or just the one you think you works best for you. I do recommend watching them so you can understand how best to work with journalists.

During the webinar, you’ll be able to ask me questions.
