Leeds Rustaceans – Lean into Green

Organised by Computer Futures

The digitisation of our world continues apace; we use more and more compute power, which in turn burns more and more carbon. It’s time we really “Lean into Green” and help improve our carbon footprint!

As developers, technologists, and tech leaders we have more and more influence on how we as an industry can impact our environmental stance. The path we choose can really influence that to have either a negative or positive impact!

We would love to have you come along and learn how by being “lean”, we can really be “green”. We will hear about how utilising a language like rust will allow us to “lean” into our environmental responsibilities. We will also talk about how moving to a progressive, modern language can also help us in many other ways.

Why attend:

  • Learn & Grow: Stay updated with the latest in Rust and expand your skills;
  • Community Building: Be part of an inclusive and supportive community;
  • Career Opportunities: Meet industry leaders and explore new paths.
