Leeds was centre stage in 1981 at the birth of techno-pop. Bands like Soft Cell put Leeds on the map. A rich and diverse subculture followed with rave making Leeds the epicentre of dance in the 1990’s.
The walk will end at the Cross Keys pub in Holbeck (at 17.30), where we invite you to join us for a drink. It was here that the Leeds Digital Festival, in its current form, was founded in 2016.
