DWP Digital and Hippo Digital are collaborating to run an in-person Hack for Leeds Digital Festival on 27 September 9:00 – 17:00. This event will be focused on Getting Britain Working, problem solving to increase employment and engagement with customers using data and automation.
Digital tech specialists are invited to hack the problem, generate ideas and develop a prototype solution on the day. We’re encouraging people to register together in multidisciplinary teams with skills including research and design development, product and delivery, business analysis and data. Teams should be made up of 4-6 people.
We’ll be working with frontline colleagues to share insights and identify gaps to inspire our hackers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a range of creative minds to explore how technology and innovation can be used to support millions of UK citizens.
Use your digital skills and expertise to play a meaningful role in the future of society by focusing on a real problem and using tech for good. Develop your tech skills, ways of working and network with likeminded professionals.
This will be a fun social event with refreshments provided by Hippo Digital, we also welcome hackers to stay for networking and celebrations in The Brew Society afterwards.
