Great Minds think Unalike: A Journey into a Career in Data

Hosted by The Data Shed

Join our team at The Data Shed, AKA our ‘Shedders’, to hear about how you don’t have to be a software engineer to work in Data & Tech.

Known to us as ‘Shedders’, the people that make up our team are a curious and supportive bunch. We provide technical and non-technical roles and strive to develop people in areas they’re interested in to help them succeed in their chosen careers.

Join us for a round of lightning talks discussing how a selection of shedders have taken their journeys to arrive at The Data Shed. The event will run for 1 hour with each speaker on for 5 mins. We’ll have some time for questions at the end too.

Whether you’re a student or a working professional looking for a new industry, this event will inspire you to explore the world of data and the key roles within the industry.

Who are The Data Shed?

Our solutions help our customers realise value beyond the boundaries of systems and applications. We collaborate with our customers to build secure, scalable and well-engineered systems that can be relied on. We love data and have made it our mission to build awesome systems that allow our customers to understand and get the most from their data.

As part of a close-working and collaborative team, we make data valuable and available to our clients, through consultancy services or product development.

This session is an introduction for an event hosted by The Data Shed later in the year that will explore roles and processes within the data industry further.
