Youth unemployment is at crisis point.

The tech skills shortages are going nowhere, yet there are fewer entry level tech roles than ever before, locking more young people out of the sector. To bridge this gap and to grow our inclusive tech community, we need to collaborate, think longer term and be intentional with entry level hiring.

This event is a practical ‘how to’ guide for companies looking to hire local entry level tech talent but unsure of the right roles, infrastructure, training plan, ROI or timelines needed to make it happen in such a demand-led industry.

Three case studies will be presented by Perform Partners, Oakland Group and Netcompany with insights from Generation alumni and time for questions and networking at the end.

• 3.00-3.15pm Generation alumni will share insights into their hiring and onboarding experience and what progression has looked like for them.
