While salary and other benefits are important, knowing that you are doing work that is ethical and making a real social impact is just as valuable when it comes to choosing your next role in tech.
In this session, we’ll look at how an organisation’s commitment to DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) can have a real impact on its ability to hire and retain tech talent. By showing that you’re a company that is prepared to tackle and address important issues – both in the workplace and beyond – you’re communicating to prospective and existing employees that they matter, and that you respect not only their talent but also their integrity.
With technology today an important part of the social fabric, taking the questions it raises seriously – whether they’re about economic justice or climate change – proves that you’re a place where the best people can develop and thrive.
