Designing Against the Clock; Good Digital Stuff CAN Happen Within your Budget and Against Tight Timescales

Organised by LEEDS 2023

Experience Design (XD) teams are still unique within organisations facing constrained budgets, but the budget doesn’t have to be a barrier to great innovation and design.

Hear from the XD team leading LEEDS 2023’s digital work about how they’ve injected human-centred design into the Year of Culture and how their mindset and ways of working make sure what we see online keeps getting better.

The format of the content will be varied, ranging from panels to lightning talks and short keynotes.

Topics will include:

Open to all – accessibility, open data, and content design

Mindset matters – creating a culture for design and digital to happen

Delivery Management – Unlocking agility through delivery

Product management – Building solutions to everyday problems

Keep making it better – how we’ve continually improved the user experience

The team will talk candidly about their experience and give away as much as possible for others to use.

There’ll be time for questions, networking, and refreshments.

Thank you to Open Innovations, our Data Partner for the kind donation of their venue.

Who would benefit from attending this event:

This event will benefit people trying to implement user centred design and digital products into an organisation with time and budget constraints. It is especially relevant for organisations in the social good (third sector) and arts and culture spaces.
