It’s been over 6 years since the GDPR was introduced. Since then, the digital landscape has significantly changed, with widespread use of generative AI, biometric data processing, multiple cyber-attacks affecting the biggest brands, Brexit which has changed our legal and regulatory framework, and 2 x failed attempts at new UK specific data protection legislation.
Amidst all of this is a legal obligation to comply with data protection laws, and potential enforcement if we get it wrong, which can seem complex and overbearing for organisations with competing priorities.
In this short webinar, organised by Gordons LLP, we will go ‘back to basics’ on all things GDPR: clarifying key data protection concepts, jargon busting terminology, and answering anonymous ‘stupid’ questions about personal data, data processing and the GDPR.
For those who sign up we will offer the opportunity to submit any questions, prior to the event, which we will try to answer (anonymously!) on the webinar.
