What we do know is this: company culture has grown in importance when companies are hiring and it’s one of the first topics that potential candidates raise. While the hybrid experience is likely here to stay, leaders can also build strong cultures by creating places where people want to work. A new culture-building approach is already in place at some organisations, one in which everyone in the organisation is responsible for.

Alice has been working for Morrisons for 12 months learning firstly how to use, and thendevelop and optimise our supply chain systems. She has worked closely with the development and technology directors and teams and supported a programme of work driving strategic change throughout the business. She also has a strong STEM background and studied Physics and Philosophy at Nottingham University.
Clara’s track record is in digital product leadership and transformation, particularly in the fields of eCommerce, marketing tech, CRM, and data. As Head of Technology Marketing , Online & Wholesale she’s responsible for developing the customer websites and apps, all the systems that run promotions and loyalty (My Morrisons) along with the technology that enables the onboarding and management of wholesale customers. Prior to joining Morrisons Clara was Head of Product at Daily Mail Group, responsible for leading large scale people / process / systems transformation programmes and setting their digital product strategy. Before that she was Head of Online at Direct Line Group.
Marina has been with Morrisons for a year and works in the IT Service Operations team. She is a Technology Manager who is responsible for the IT Service Desk, Knowledge & Reporting functions. Marina is passionate about improving our customer experience and delivering great service.
David is Head of Technology – Colleague, Property and Loss Prevention at Morrisons and has a track record of delivering solutions and business analytics . He is responsible for the development and support of all People Systems used by 101,000 colleagues as part of their colleague lifecycle including the internal colleague portal (MyMorri). As part of his remit covering Loss Prevention he is responsible for the solutions used to tackle shrinkage. David has been at Morrisons since 2004 and prior to moving into his role in the Technology held various roles within the People function most recently as Senior People Manager – People Systems where he led business change in a programme to replace the on-premise People systems (PeopleSoft) to a cloud based solution (Oracle HCM / Reflexis). Before this he was Senior People Manager – Engagement and Change.
Ali has been with Morrisons for six years and works in the central People Team. She has responsibility for Morrisons Early Careers schemes and for the progression of internal talent across the company. Ali has over 20 years experience in managing talent and is passionate about colleagues fulfilling their potential at work.
Peter is the CEO of Orderly, a Morrisons partner since 2016. Peter started at Orderly in 2011 as a contract front-end developer before working in various roles in the business and becoming CEO in 2020. Orderly refocused during the pandemic to balance purpose with profit and is now a certified B-Corp, with a mission to increase responsibility in global supply chains. Orderly has a rapidly scaling, international team focussing on next-generation technologies (including vision and AI) to assist food and beverage enterprises in making better, more sustainable decisions.
Ganesh joined the business over a year ago and works in the Service Design & Transition team. He comes with more than 14 years of experience in managing transition programs for various clients across retail, banking and financial services domains. He has rich experience in creating successful transition solutions for complex multi-geography and multi-domain projects, rolling out transition management processes and setting up the service delivery teams for several clients.
Hanu is a Test Manager in Morrisons. Having come from Yorkshire Building Society, she has been with Morrisons for the past 12 months. With nearly 20 years of Technology experience her primary focus is around test automation.
Best described as a jack of all trades, experienced technology professional with proven leadership experience in range of delivery roles. Now part of regional BJSS leadership team in People Lead role, looking after the amazing BJSS people in Leeds & York, responsible for ensuring that it is a great place to work. BJSS are a technology and engineering consultancy helping clients deliver solutions used by millions of people every day. Eleanor is a Tech Women 100 winner, with experience in a range of sectors – healthcare, social care, and betting & gaming. She is passionate about removing barriers into the tech industry, and ensuring that as many people as possible from a range of backgrounds get to benefit from being part of this great sector.
Jordan McLean is our Technology Director here at Morrisons. In his role, Jordan has ownership of our strategic Technology delivery programme, transforming our end-to-end business processes and systems in a multi year, multi-million pound programme of work which is delivering benefit to every part of the Morrisons business. In his time at Morrisons, Jordan has been accountable for our Customer and Colleague facing Technology as well as Service Operations.
