Confessions of an EdTech Founder

Hosted by Addleshaw Goddard

What’s it like to be a founder? What’s it like to be an Ed-Tech Founder?!

Ed-tech companies in the UK, according to the Department for Education, are estimated to have generated £3.8 billion of GVA in England and to have accounted for 4% (£101 billion) and 3% (£148 billion) of the English educational and digital markets in 2021, respectively. Venture capitalists reportedly invested 40 times the amount in Edtech in 2021 (USD 20.8 billion) than in 2020.

With challenges and opportunities for founders, investors and players in the Ed-tech eco-system arising from the pandemic, high-paced innovation in technology, regulatory challenges, internationalisation and other macro-economic uncertainties, what does it take to be an Ed-Tech Founder?

We’ll hear experiences, insights and CONFESSIONS from the below esteemed Ed-Tech founders. We’ll also have cocktails and mocktails from over very own Leeds-founded tequila brand, Hacien.
