This is an exciting opportunity to witness first-hand the work we’ve undertaken within Asda on Point Of Sale Automation. We’ll be talking through our journey right from the offset covering our assessment of Testing Tools, through to our POC. We’ll be discussing how we faced into the issues we encountered and our next steps.
The session is interactive and you will also be able to hear from market leading experts from IntelliQA and Eggplant who have helped us on this journey.
Our guest speakers will include:
Paul Kaye (Managing Director of IntelliQA) – IntelliQA helps leading retailers and payments acquirers to automate full end to end tests using advanced automation, robotics and card payment solutions, in order to eliminate the integration test bottleneck and achieve operational effectiveness. IntelliQA is an Eggplant Endorsed Service Provider and a leading partner of Abrantix, the Swiss payment engineering company.
Antony Edward (COO of Eggplant) – Antony is a proven product and technology leader with extensive experience in enterprise software and mobile computing. Prior COO, Antony was CTO of Eggplant, but prior to that he served as CTO of The Global Draw Group—a leading supplier of networked gaming products, which includes subsidiaries Barcrest and Games Media. While at Symbian, Antony was a founder of the Symbian open-source foundation. Prior to this, Antony held a position with IBM Research in New York, where he made several contributions to the development of the Linux kernel, with a particular focus on security.
Mark Fernee (EggPlant Consultancy Lead) – Mark is a proven member of the EggPlant consultancy team. Prior experience includes sitting on the Forensic Data team at Deloitte. He was also part of the team who led successful projects with Bank of England and Walmart where 125 man day test cycles on manual testing, was reduced to 10 man days per cycle using Eggplant Functional. What to do when you arrive
Aim to be at Asda House 15 minutes before the start so that we can organise your access to the building and “Tomato Room” Auditorium.
You will need a recognised photo id to get in the building. We’ll have a colleague waiting at security to welcome you and show you where to go. Refreshments will be available before the presentation.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all in Asda House soon
