“Autonomous Together” – Growing a regional network for digital enablement of Autonomous Vehicles

With an annual compound growth rate of almost 22%, the Autonomous Vehicle market is predicted to grow to in excess of £210 billion by 2030. The UK is already a world leader in the development of the systems and services upon which autonomous vehicles will depend offering a multitude of opportunities across a wide range of industries, from AI and software to insurance tech and legal tech services.

About this event:

  • Using their UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2035, Zenzic will showcase some of the key technologies and services which are needed to enable autonomous vehicles to operate safely on UK roads. This will highlight the opportunities which are available to Digital / Cybersecurity / Legal tech / Insurance Tech and AI companies;
  • Hear about the research being undertaken at the University of Leeds “Virtuocity” center – one of the world’s leading research centers for Autonomous Mobility Systems and home to the worlds most advanced facility for simulation, virtual prototyping and Human-Centered AV research;
  • Hear from the Connected Places Catapult about their role as an Innovation Accelerator in the Autonomous Mobility eco-system, connecting leaders from across the public and private sectors and R&D grants to bridge the early stage, proof-of-concept funding gap in transport innovation;
  • Following the speakers and the Q&A session there will be an opportunity to book a tour of the facilities at Virtuocity, home to one of the world’s most advanced virtual simulation centers where you will be able to experience how humans interact with autonomous vehicles in an immersive digital environment. The tour is expected to take between 45-60 minutes.
