Join Arup and CEG, in collaboration with Christians Surveying, for a virtual tour of Grade I listed Temple Works, the 1841 Egyptian-style former flax mill, based in Leeds. Following the success of our Immersive Tech in the built environment event at LDF 2019, we’d like to follow up on the Temple Works story and delve a little deeper into buildings history and challenges.

David Hodgson, Head of Strategic Development, CEG and Rick Lee, Principal Structural Engineer, Arup will virtually greet you outside Temple Works before safely showing you around the at risk mill. No need for hard hats or hand sanitiser, you’ll discover the building’s quirks and intricacies while hearing about its heritage from your home.

On the tour, you’ll learn about the building’s 200 year history, the engineering challenges, the progressive technology used to capture the space and what the future holds for the site.

This is a unique opportunity to see the building from a different perspective, delivered from Arup’s VR suite in the Leeds office, to provide a more immersive webinar format and we’d be thrilled to welcome you on Thursday 1 October.
