A view from “Covid Pass” mission control – Meet the team behind the UK’s largest ever citizen digital service

Hosted by Netcompany

With the UK’s Covid-19 vaccination programme underway and the national testing efforts scaled up nationwide, the UK government required a reliable method to instantaneously and accurately display citizen Covid status. Working in conjunction with NHS Digital, Netcompany delivered the UK’s Covid Pass solution to allow citizens to display their vaccination or recent Covid-19 test results in order to safely and securely ease national lockdown restrictions.

Delivering such a prolific national solution under time-pressured circumstances brings with it a unique set of challenges. Join us on Wednesday 29th September to hear directly from the operations team supporting the solution about how they overcame the various challenges to successfully deploy the UK’s largest ever citizen digital service.

In the session you will hear more about:

– How we prepared our teams to work effectively across remote locations
– Overseeing the management and deployment of a society-critical solution
– The digital infrastructure supporting the solution
– The team’s personal perspective of being involved in the delivery of such a vital national solution

Event agenda:

17:30 – Arrival, drinks & nibbles
18:00 – Talk
19:00 – Drinks & networking
