Iterative Development and the Theory of Constraints – Interactive Workshop

Hosted by Scott Logic

Join us for an interactive session that will bring to life the Theory of Constraints and demonstrate the Agile principle that the best people to shape how the work should be done are the people actually doing the work.

The Theory of Constraints looks at bottlenecks in an interconnected process. In his book ‘The Goal’, Eliyahu Goldratt introduces a dice game to illustrate the concept. In this session, we’ll split into teams and play the dice game – once to explore how bottlenecks appear in the system, then again to see if our teams can improve the process and make the system work better in each subsequent iteration.

Facilitated by Paul Graham (Lead Developer at Scott Logic), this fun and interactive session will give you a vivid sense of the value of continuous improvement and bring a core Agile principle to life.

We’re running this workshop as part of Leeds Digital Festival, which Scott Logic is proud to sponsor.
