Creative confidence: How to do work you love and get paid what you’re worth

Would you love to work with clients that give you full creative control over a project AND pay you well? Maybe you already have one or two of these clients, but what would your business look like if all of your clients were like that?

I’ve worked in the creative industries for over 10 years and I have witnessed first hand the constant battle between paying the bills and doing meaningful, creatively fulfilling work. Most businesses end up being workers for their clients rather than partners, they work for them instead of with them.

In this talk, I'm going to be sharing the frameworks and strategies that I use to help my clients do exactly that. I will be covering three key concepts that I've used in my own business and with my clients that take them from overworked and underpaid to oversubscribed and creatively fulfilled. These concepts will give you the confidence to charge what you are truly worth and not be beaten down on price. To pick and choose the projects you want to work on and create a consistent income from meaningful, fulfilling work you can be proud of.

By the end of this event you will have the tools and resources to:

- Challenge your clients and the brief so that you can work with them, not for them

- Stand out in an oversaturated and competitive market

- Find clients you really want to work with and get paid what you ask

- Step off the income roller coaster and create a consistent cash flow

- Do work that brings you fulfilment and doesn't just pay the bills

I will also be giving attendees the opportunity to book in a free strategy session where you will be able to talk about your business in more detail and get specific feedback and advice to help you overcome any challenges you are currently facing. The strategy sessions will only be available to people who are interested in attending further workshops or working with me one to one.

This is event is for established freelancers and small business owners working in the creative industries who want to take their life and business to the next level. You should have a strong commercially viable portfolio and be willing to try new things which may push you out of your comfort zone.

Who is this event NOT for?

The workshop isn't for startup businesses that don’t have a strong portfolio of work or a strong industry background. This is also not for anyone looking for a magic bullet or get rich quick scheme. These are strategies and frameworks I have spent years developing and testing and I have seen them create amazing results for people, but they require time, effort and ambition.
